I highly recommend this book, but first off I have to say, “Why did I decide to read a series out of order?”
This is just what I did when I read Tiger’s Quest. It is the second book in its series. I guess for starts, it was because I received this book in a giveaway from Goodreads.
Normally starting to read a series by reading it out of sequence is not recommended. I have to admit, I was a bit lost during the very first chapter to what the author was referring to.
For those of who do not like backstory, this is a great book for you. The author did not overload this book with lots of backstory. It might have been a bit helpful for her if she had chosen to include more backstory say in the second chapter, but the book reads fine as it is.
I really enjoyed this book and I know I will be more than tempted to read the rest of the series.
This is a great series for teens and tweens – Chic Lit- there is romance in the book, but it is written with for a target age of 12 and up.
I give this book 4 out of 5 ****
